Meridian, Mississippi

Today, I went with my mother to Meridian, where she is doing research on those without a home.  Immediately past the Soup Kitchen, there is a line of empty railroad cars.  The homeless use the empty cars as shelter, especially for a place to sleep.  The Soup Kitchen was crawling with those craving something to eat.  Around the lunch hour, you see bodies appearing from the many places that provide shelter, especially the old railroad cars. Image
